who gets rid of the waste?
Hear at AW & SON CONSTRUCTION LTD we recycle as much of the waste as possible, everything is correctly and responsibly disposed of.
do you provide a guarantee?
Yes we do provide guarantee, we use the best quality timber we can that offers a product guarantee, we also provide a 12 month workmanship guarantee.
do i need to treat my fence?
All timber we use is pressure treated, although we do recommend waiting 12 months before treating your fence, then at regular intervals to help prolong the life and look of your fence.
will i need planning permission?
Providing you do not plan to go higher than 2m in the rear garden and 1m on the front no you do not require planning. However if you are unsure its best to check with your local authority.
how deep do you put the posts in the ground?
All post are installed at a depth of 2ft provide a very stable foundation for your fence.
timber, concrete or metal posts?
This will depend on your personal taste and the requirements of the project.
Metal posts are extremely sleek and stylish being available in various powder coated finished, needing little to maintenance, also providing up to a 25year guarantee.
Concrete post require little to no maintenance and provide great strength, but can be un-pleasing on the eye.
Timber post however they require more maintenance, are a more economical option and make a garden feel less industrial and warmer.
